MISSION
Click to download mis•sion: noun, Bringing you and your loved ones quality healthcare that restores, preserves and promotes physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Making a Difference. Saint Mary’s believes in taking many programs directly to you, rather than expecting you to always come to us. Our Take Care-A-Vans bring healthcare to local communities in need. Our dental vans provide care to local children at their schools. Through community partnerships with the Kids to Seniors Korner Program and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Care Mobile®, our medical vans provide immunizations and health services to needy children. It can mean the difference between being healthy and being at risk.

Serving Your Neighborhood. We provide care at our community health centers and welcome those who experience difficulty getting the treatment they need because of economic, cultural or language barriers. You can obtain basic and preventive healthcare close to home at the Nell J. Redfield Health Centers in Sun Valley and on Neil Road.

Respecting Your Spirituality. Your spiritual needs are an important part of you. Our staff and volunteer chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support for you and your family. We’re here to bring you comfort when you’re most vulnerable, with respect for your personal beliefs.

Saint Mary's, defining healthcare.

Saint Mary's began our legacy of caring for the health of our community almost a century ago when the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael opened Sisters' Hospital. Over the years, Saint Mary's has grown into a nationally recognized, multi-facility healthcare network. As we continue to grow, our commitment to provide care for those who are poor, underserved and vulnerable remains strong and true. Our Mission Outreach programs - including Mobile Medical and Dental Outreach, Parish Nursing and Youth Outreach - respond to the health and spiritual needs of the most vulnerable members of our community.

As the only faith-based healthcare organization in the region, we have a unique opportunity to reach out to our community in special ways.  In meeting these needs, Saint Mary's has developed a philosophy of taking many programs and services out to the people, rather than expecting them to come to us.  By reaching people where they live, work, learn and worship, we are making measurable differences in the lives of thousands of community members.
