The Role of the Chaplain

Saint Mary's chaplains support the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, their families and staff. Chaplains can help to meet  religious needs, such as prayer sacraments and other rituals, and can make referrals to local clergy in the community. We can also offer support in making meaning out of loss, sudden changes and new beginnings. All of our chaplains are trained professionals who have chosen to specialize in the area of hospital ministry.
