- Services of a skilled nurse, medical social worker, nursing assistant, clergy and a medical director (doctor) for pain-management consultation, on-call 24 hours a day to answer questions or concerns.
- Other therapeutic services may be offered to enhance quality of life.
- Trained hospice volunteers to provide respite to the primary caregiver and to be a friendly visitor to the patient.
- Prescription medications to treat the symptoms of terminal illness and related conditions.
- Chaplains are available for spiritual support to the patient or family.
- Medical equipment, oxygen and other supplies required to manage the symptoms of the terminal illness and related conditions.
- Short-term crisis care for symptom management at home.
- Up to one year of bereavement care for surviving family members.
