Palliative Care

Saint Mary’s Palliative Care Program is committed to improving the quality of life, comfort and dignity of patients diagnosed with serious illness. Difficult symptoms and functional decline are discussed early on, and patients are supported throughout the course of their illness.

Under the leadership of Dr. Kelle Brogan (pictured left), a board-certified palliative care physician with a fellowship in hospice and palliative care, Saint Mary’s Palliative Care Program offers spiritual, emotional and family support. Services include guidance regarding illness and treatment; advanced-care planning; expert treatment of pain, nausea, fatigue, itching and other uncomfortable symptoms; and support for the spiritual, emotional and family functioning aspects of the illness.
